About Our Company

THE COMPANY

The journey goes back to 1972. After the liberation war, in a war torn country a young man “Ruhul Amin Bhuiyan” among the many who wanted to make some difference came to Dhaka.

He started to do clothing business first at Khaddar Bazar, B.B. Avenue, GPO, Dhaka.

In 1975, he moved his business to the heart of a clothing hub today known as “Islampur, Dhaka”.

In 1978, he went to Japan to bring textile machinery and established a textile factory at Tongi currently known as “N.Amin Textile Mills Ltd”. And that was just the beginning.
Since then he has established -

N.Amin Textile Mills Ltd. - 1989
R.Amin Textile Mills Ltd. - 2001
AB Agro Industries Ltd. - 2006
Shatarupa Weaving Mills Ltd. - 2009

and formed Shatarupa Group
Today with his visionary leadership “Shatarupa Group” has become one of the leading textile manufacturers in Bangladesh.
